Student Voting Rate Up 22.1 Percent

Galloway, N.J. 鈥 According to a the overall voting rate of students at 麻豆传媒 increased from 14.0 percent in 2014 to 36.1 percent in 2018, an increase of 22.1 percentage points.

The report also showed that among Stockton students registered to vote, turnout increased 24 percent from 20.5% in 2014 to 44.5% in 2018.  Stockton鈥檚 voter registration rate rose 12.6 percent from 68.4% in 2014 to 81.0% in 2018.

The purpose of the NSLVE report is to provide information about college students鈥 registration and turnout rates in both the 2014 and 2018 midterm elections.

On Tuesday, September 24 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., ADP/PEP will be tabling in the F-wing atrium, where they will help members of the Stockton campus community get registered to vote and request mail-in ballots.
